JEE Main 2018: Application Form, Exam Dates
JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Main exam is the most sought examination among the students of India. The JEE is a 2 tier examination (Main & Advanced) regulated by CBSE Board. Applicants can get admissions in B.Tech / B.Arch programs offered by NITs, IIITs or other engineering institutions through JEE Main examination while IITs offer courses through JEE Advanced examination. JEE Main 2018 exam is also considered as a qualifying examination to appear JEE Advanced examination. JEE Main 2018 Application Form
Applicants are required to fill the JEE Main 2018 Application Form only through online mode. No other modes will be entertained to fill or submit the application form. Applicants can fill or submit the application form through the official site of JEE Main. The application form may be released from the 1st week of December 2017.
The application fee payment can be made through two modes online (debit/credit card) or offline mode (echallan of Syndicate/Canara/ICICI/HDFC Bank). The application fee criteria of JEE Main 2018 is mentioned below:

Applicants check the JEE Main 2018 eligibility criteria before applying:
- Applicant’s date of birth should fall on and after 01 October 1993 for general applicants or 01, October 1988 for SC, ST or PWD applicants.
- Applicants must have passed 12th or equivalent examinations in 2015-16 are eligible to apply.
- Applicants appearing 12th or equivalent examination are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must have completed their class 12th with Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry.
- Applicants who have passed the 12th or equivalent examination in 2014 are not eligible to apply.
- Applicants should have minimum 5 subjects in 12 /qualifying exam.
- Applicants can attempt for this examination for only 3 times.
- Diploma (3 years) holders are eligible to apply.
- Applicants appearing qualifying exam in 2018 may eligible to appear.

Form Correction Details
If the applicant has made mistakes to filling the application form, they can get a chance by the authority to make corrections in the application form. Candidates can correct their entries during correction period that will be announced for 1 week in the 2nd half of January 2018 (Tentatively). Applicants must be very careful during correction process as that will be the last chance to correct application form. Any further corrections in application form after closing the correction period will not be entertained.
JEE Main 2018 Patten
The JEE Main 2018 pattern will be composed of 2 papers i.e. paper one (for engineering) or paper two (for architecture). The Paper one will consist of total 90 objective type questions from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects. The Paper one will comprise in total 82 questions out of which 30 questions from math, 50 questions from aptitude exam and 2 questions of drawing test.

JEE Main 2018 Syllabus
JEE Main 2018 syllabus will be composed of paper 1 and 2 syllabi. JEE main paper 1 will be asked for the (Engineering) B.Tech while paper 2 will be asked for (B.Arch) architecture.
JEE Main Paper 1 Syllabus:
The JEE Main 2018 paper 1 will be composed of all theory topics of 3 subjects which are mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
JEE Main Paper 2 Syllabus:
The JEE Main 2018 paper 2 has been divided into three parts i.e. math, aptitude test and drawing test.
JEE Main 2018 Admit Card
The JEE Main 2018 Admit Card will be released by the authority in the 1st week of March 2018 (Tentative). Applicants can download admit card from the official portal of JEE Main. To download the admit card applicants are required to provide their roll no. and board details of the 12th class or equivalent examination on the official portal of JEE Main.
JEE Main 2018 Answer Key
After the JEE Main 2018 exam, the official answer key or images of response sheets (OMR sheets) will be displayed in the 2nd week of April 2018 (Tentative). Applicants can download the answer key through official portal of JEE Main. If the applicant is not satisfied with the answer key then the applicants can make a written challenge.
JEE Main 2018 Result
The result 2018 will be declared in the 4th week of April 2018 (Tentatively). Applicants can check their JEE Main 2018 Result through the official portal. Applicants are required to enter their roll no. and date of birth or click on submit button. After the result announcement, merit list will be prepared only on basis of JEE Main 2018 Score. From the year 2018 board marks will not be taken into account for preparing JEE main 2018 merit, but applicants who wish to take admission into IIT’s, IIIT’s, NIT’s, CFTI’s must score 75% in their class 12th board exams as the mandatory eligibility.
JEE Main Cutoff
The cutoff 2018 is the minimum score required for the applicants to get admission in top colleges of the country.
