NITTE University is listed among top 46 deemed universities out of total 130 deemed UGC approved universities in the country. The organization was placed under Category ‘A’ by Ministry of HRD, Government of India Accredited as ‘A’ Grade University by The National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC). University is conducting NITTE University Post Graduate Entrance Test (NUPGET) for the admissions to various Post Graduate program offering at NITTE University. Eligibility Criteria for NUPGET 2017
The aspirant must have completed their MBBS/ BDS program from an affiliated institute approval by Medical Council of India/Dental Council or they must have completed/be completing their internship on or before last week of April 2017
Applicants belonging to General merit category must acquires 50% marks and applicant belonging to Scheduled Caste SC, Scheduled Tribe (All India) or Other Backward Class (only
Karnataka State) must acquire 40% in order to qualify examination.
The application form will be available online mode in the month of November. Before start directly applying online, we are recommending you to read brochure shown in the portal www.nitte.edu.in for avoiding errors.

To fill the application online the application must have any photo ID proof, Internship completion date, Medical/Dental Registration No. (Permanent | Provisional), PAN card No., Personal email address, or scanned image of your recent photograph and signature. Any online application without Photo or signature will be rejected without prior notification. For details regarding exact size of Photo, please visit brochure of NITEE University.
The entrance exam fee for the NUPGET 2017 Rs. 3,000/ (Non Refundable) which can remit only through online payment mode.
Centers NUPGET 2017: Ernakulum, Mangalore, New Delhi, Mumbai or Bangalore.
Exam pattern: It’s a Pen paper mode of examination. The applicants have to use blue or black ball point pen for marking answers in Optical Mark Reader sheet. The questions are asking in English Language and No negative Marking system for wrong answers. NUPGET 2017 question comprises of 200 questions which have to attend in 3 hours.
Syllabus MD/MS: The MD/MS questions are mainly from the subjects like Pharmacology, Pathology, Orthopedics, Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Anesthesiology, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, General Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Dermatology.
Syllabus MDS: The MDS questions are mainly coming from subjects like General Human Anatomy including Oral Pathology &Microbiology, Embryology& Histology, Dental Anatomy& Oral Histology, Oral Medicine &Radiology, Oral Pathology &Microbiology, Conservative (Operative) Dentistry including Endodontic, General Microbiology, Human Biochemistry, General Surgery, Human Physiology, and Prosthetics.
NUPGET 2017 Admit Card
Applicants can download the admit card/ hall Ticket from the Official portal. The applicants can find exact date for downloading Admit card of NUPGET in the brochure which will release on January 2017. The applicants shall also carry original Unique ID Proof (Voter ID /Driving License /Passport / PAN Card / Aadhar Card) while day they attending for the examination.
Note: No admit card will send to applicants any other modes than online. If you have any queries regarding NUPGET, please report it to controller of exams for further assistance.
NUPGET 2017 Result
The result of applicants will display on the Official Portal www.nitte.edu.in. The admissions to PG courses at NITTE are purely on basis of entrance scores.
Note: In a special case if two applicants scored similar marks, then admissions may depends on following factors-
- No. of pass attempts in their academics, i.e., M.B.B.S. / B.D.S. examination
- Total Aggregate percentage scored in the M.B.B.S./B.D.S examination
- Applicant’s age: The elder applicant is ranked higher than younger applicants.
